A multi-lingual musical performance that includes original work by Beit System Ali’s collective of artists. The collective is a home for poets, musicians and performers who have been working together for over a decade. The musical pieces are performed in five languages: Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, English, and Yiddish and are inspired by countless sources from Fairouz to Egyptian poetry through scriptural texts and IDF bands. Interwoven among the songs are rap and spoken word pieces and monologues that open up a gate into the diverse personal lives of the performing artists.
